Protests in UB turn ugly

Oh boy! The protests against the stability agreement between the government and Ivanhoe Mines Ltd are turning ugly. Not only the alleged bribery by the MPRP of students to stage a pro-government protest, but now also violence by the anti-agreement protesters, destroyed gers and, sadly, an ambulance that was not allowed to pass through resulting in a patient's death.

Remember people, this is an economic dispute not a coup d'etat or a protest against a fraudulent poll! Stop the violence, start the dialogue. Lobbying is a good-old-fashioned way to have influence on the government and Parliament, protesting is a good way of rallying the common people to your cause but... turning to violence and "extreme measures" and not letting ambulances and the fire department pass are a sure-fire way of alienating exactly those people that you need to support you! Even if this is one of the first real engagements between the government and the people, common sense should prevail!
